Yes, we encourage residents to bring familiar furnishings but if you wish, we can provide all you need.
Can my family and friends visit?
We have an open door policy and visitors are welcome.
Can I use the phone?
We have phones available or you can arrange with telecom to have you own phone installed in your room (at your cost).
Can I go out whenever I want?
We encourage you to continue your independent activities in the community.
What extra charges will I have to pay?
Your hairdressing, podiatry care, toiletries and private phone if you have one. If you are uncertain about an extra charge ask the manager or Registered Nurse.
Is my personal property covered by Shalom’s insurance?
No, you will need to arrange your own insurance to cover personal items.
