Kamo Home provides hospital level care for residents who are unwell or need additional cares to meet their daily health and well-being needs.
We recognise how difficult it can be for families to make decisions for the welfare of their loved ones, so we are here to support you and your family throughout this process.
Our Kamo Home hospital residents have a personalised bedroom, access to communal dining and social lounge, TV, internet access and an outside area for sunshine and fresh air or family BBQ. For those seeking a little bit extra we have premium studio apartments with spacious en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette and a private outdoor area that can be shared with family and friends.
Hospital level services are delivered by the skilled and committed members of our care services team who are trained to provide high dependency cares. Registered nurses develop individualised care plans to manage any medical requirements and oversee all aspects of hospital care. All our hospital residents receive regular visits from the doctor, podiatrist and physiotherapist.
Meals and daily nutritional requirements are supervised by a dietitian and prepared by our experienced catering team and our housekeeping team takes care of all laundry and housekeeping needs.
Kamo Home has a varied activities programme that caters to individual interests and is specially designed to assist hospital residents that are not mobile to keep involved and active. Our activities include a weekly outing to maintain contact with the wider community.
Our resident chaplain is also available to provide spiritual support and conduct weekly services.
